There’s a reason why this song (acoustic or plugged) has been my favorite song for the past decade since Leaving Through The Window was released. Why Something Corporate is hands down my favorite band ever. Why whenever I see them perform, I felt more alive than I’ve felt in the months before that show. Why this album in general is one of the faves I can always turn to regardless of what genre of music I’ll be into at the moment. It is probably the album that has defined my life throughout the years and will continue to be part of my life until I die.

Today has been emotional.  Today I have let the past creep up into my present.  Today it has been rather difficult at times to breathe.  As I sit here tonight I have begun to spend time reading posts I wrote a year or so ago.  I begin to look to my past, and as I do so I realize how much better life was back then.  I became even more discouraged.  Something pulled me to YouTube, and I found this video.  By the time Andrew had hit the chorus the first time I found peace.  I’ll go to sleep just fine tonight because of this.  Thank you Andrew.  Thank you for continuously saving me. 

You live the life you’re given with the storms outside.  Some days all I do is watch the sky.
