FUCK YOU, GO BACK TO COMMENTATING BECAUSE THE ONLY THING YOU’RE CAPABLE OF RUNNING IS YOUR MOUTH.
Bring back Tito and bring Tek on as a coach. The team needs some leadership.
Jason Varitek & Tim Wakefield
Fenway Park erupted at the sight of these guys. It was magic.
But as the two were coming from the monster, Youk was out front stretching and Papi was at the end of the dugout. Both saw that the whole dugout was applauding, but it wasn’t enough. Youk started to wave his arms up and Papi looked down and said, “‘Ey! Get up, stand up!” And they stood.
Dewey and Jim came out, the kids from Wake’s charity came out, it was just perfection. Not a soul was sitting. Afterwards, of course, they all went through the dugout and hugged everyone. Papi’s hugs were godly, of course. I don’t know it was announced on TV, but both are getting their own days at Fenway Park this season. :)
I literally live in fear of the day Jerry Remy is no longer the Red Sox color guy. I can take the Theo Epstein thing, and I can handle the Terry Francona thing, and I can make it through the Jason Varitek thing. But do not ask me to live without Jerry Remy.
i wont ever forget this.

He always came prepared, even catching four no-hitters from four different pitchers (and might have had a fifth if Schilling hadn’t shaken him off). And, even though he refuses to autograph the picture, Jason Varitek did this:
And if nothing else, we’ll always love him for that.[READ THE REST]
